Delete Your CommunityConnect Account and Data
CommunityConnect users can request deletion of their app account and associated app data even if they no longer have access to the app.
Delete your account in the app
If you can sign in, open CommunityConnect and go to:
Settings → Delete Account
Follow the confirmation and reauthentication steps. The app deletes your sign-in account and CommunityConnect profile, clears local account data, and removes your push-notification subscription. If the app reports an error, contact support because deletion may not have completed.
Request deletion without the app
Send a request using this method:
- Email: a dedicated support email is being finalized and will be listed here
Use a subject such as CommunityConnect account deletion request and include:
- the email address used for the CommunityConnect account;
- the sign-in provider, if known: email/password, Apple, or Google;
- your program location, if known (optional);
- a clear statement that you are requesting deletion of your CommunityConnect account and associated app data; and
- for a request involving feedback, the approximate submission date and enough non-sensitive detail to locate it, if known.
Do not send your password, Apple or Google password, verification code, identity token, or other authentication secret. 180 Degrees may need to take reasonable steps to verify that the requester controls the account before deleting it.
What you can request
You may request deletion of:
- your CommunityConnect sign-in account;
- your associated CommunityConnect profile, including name, email, and selected program location;
- feedback where it identifies you and can reasonably be located; and
- notification subscription information where it can be matched and removed.
Deleting a CommunityConnect account does not delete your Apple ID, Google Account, or other account you use as a sign-in provider.
What may remain temporarily
Deletion may not immediately remove information from encrypted backups, security/fraud-prevention records, provider delivery records, operational logs, or records that 180 Degrees must retain for an approved legal, security, or audit reason. Unidentified feedback may not be technically possible to match to a requester. Retained information is limited to the approved purpose and retention period.
180 Degrees cannot promise immediate deletion of every third-party log or backup.
Expected timing
Response and completion timelines for emailed requests are being finalized and will be posted here before public release. In-app deletion takes effect immediately.
